WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE MIND/BODY WORK?
The Way To Wellness believes that the mind, body and spirit work best as an integrated whole. We believe that you can radically change your body, your consciousness, the very essence of your being by noticing exactly how all your amazing parts can begin to work together.

So, the good news is that our body parts are connected. The bad news is that most of us have no idea how really connected we are!
For instance, did you know that if all your 12 to 14 BILLION brain cells were laid out end to end, they would reach to the moon and back? However, you might have a bit of a headache putting it all back together again.
Happily, we here at The Way To Wellness know there are easier ways to "shoot for the moon" without taking your brain apart. As a matter of fact, keeping your mind, body and spirit intact is quite the point.
What really matters is that you find a way to integrate your great mind with your great body. And that's why we work with the concept of Integrative Mind/Body work. The body is holographic, constructed in many dimensions, with connections being made at every level.
If you have a run in with your boss on Monday, a fight with your partner on Tuesday, find out that your kid is failing Algebra on Wednesday, and get a ticket for going 50 in a 45 MPH speed zone on Thursday, you might feel, by Friday, like your head is going to split open, you can't think about anything clearly, your stomach is in a knot, and you can feel a twinge of pain creeping into your lower back.
What is happening? Your body and mind are having a bit of a "conversation." They are definitely talking, but instead of the communication bringing about positive results, you might quickly see that the body is beginning to store dis-comfort. And that dis-comfort could, unless it is tended to, turn into dis-ease.
Using some simple exercises that we have joined with our work in NLP, we utilize the ancient wisdoms and disciplines of the body and mind found in Tai Chi Chuan and QiGong. As a matter of fact, that is why we came up with our DVD called "AMAZING STRESS SOLUTIONS FOR SMALL SPACES."
Based on Lily Cohen's long history as a teacher and student of Tai Chi Chuan and QiGong, we have been able to show how important it is to integrate, easily and effortlessly, the true, brilliant connections of the mind, body and spirit.
